This year BASIS DC celebrates its 5th year of excellence in education for grades through its top notch 5th through 12th grade curriculum supported by talented and caring staff. We are proud to have been named the District’s top-performing charter school, according to annual D.C. Public Charter School Board rankings released this past November!
BASIS achieves academic excellence because of its world-class teachers. Experts in their field, they go above and beyond for our kids, with before and after class tutoring and mentoring to ensure every student can keep pace with the ambitious curriculum. BASIS retains these teachers, in part, by supplementing their salaries so that they may achieve reasonable living wages and keep pace with peers in the DC School system. This is accomplished through merit based bonuses reflecting students’ performance and their ongoing commitment to remain with BASIS DC.
Each year BASIS DC Boosters hosts a fundraiser/social event to raise money for the Annual Teachers Fund to supplement these bonuses. This is a fun opportunity to not only support a great cause, but also meet Booster families, friends and teachers in a relaxed social setting.

Buy Tickets: Attend the event and get carried away with all the fun of a silent and live Auction.
