College Counseling

One 90-minute college admissions counseling session on topics of the bidder’s choice, which may include: high school course selection; extracurricular and summer activities; planning for standardized tests; campus visits; developing a college list; an overview of financial aid; and the application process. In-person consultations are offered in the Washington, DC area. Services are provided via video conferencing and e-mail to students in other locations.

Three sessions (one hour each) with Cynthia Poss, Former Fortune 500 Executive, MBA (Stanford), MS, BS Electrical Engineering (University of Pennsylvania). With over 25 years in technical and business leadership positions at companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations, Cindy can help you to navigate tricky political situations, accelerate your career, get your career back on track, launch a new career or evaluate leaving your current company! She has managed divisions of 200 people, hired (and fired!) numerous career professionals and worked in high-level positions for the following companies: GE, AOL, A.T. Kearney, Oracle, and large-scale government contractors (SAIC, CSC). Each structured session follows a specific agenda with coaching exercises and assigned homework, starting with discovery and ending with an action plan.

Estate Planning

Lippman, Semsker & Salb will prepare a Will, a Durable Power of Attorney, and an Advanced Directive on Healthcare for you and your spouse. If you have children, the Will can include a testamentary trust to care for your minor children and the appointment of a Guardian in the event that you and your spouse (if applicable) both die. Please note that the successful bidder must pay $50 to Lippman, Semsker & Salb to cover out-of-pocket administrative expenses. Certificates expire one year from the date of the auction. An expired certificate will entitle the holder to a 50% discount, up to $1,000, on Lippman, Semsker and Salb’s regular estate planning fees. Does not include tax planning.

Basketball Session with Mr. Marcus

A 1 hour basketball skills, drills, and conditioning session with the boys middle school coach. All sessions will be held on a outside court of your choice once the weather permits. Date and time of sessions are negotiable.

We can donate 1 $2,000 certificate for a fine portrait from Jeff Lubin Portrait Studio in the heart of downtown Historic Fairfax. The certificate covers the pre-portrait consultation to discuss clothing and our hand-painted backgrounds, an hour-long in-studio session with the artist and a custom, hand-crafted 11x14" Imperial Portrait mounted to canvas and coated with a high gloss lacquer. Other relevant information: *The 11x14 certificates also holds a $2,000 value at our studio which can be applied towards wall portraits, collections and other finish options. *The certificates have a 6 month expiration, however, they can be extended. *After the event, we do request the winner's contact information (Name, Phone #, Email and Mailing Address) to validate the certificate and to mail them a packet of information on how to prepare.
